PARC -Parking and Airport Roadway Construction

Parking and Directions

Please note temporary changes to parking at GSP due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. Click here for the latest updates.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is adding 1,500 additional vehicle parking spaces and making improvements to the airport’s roadways. The project will allow the airport to accommodate future growth and ease vehicle congestion on GSP Drive. To complete this project there will be temporary modifications to the airport’s entrance roadway, Aviation Parkway, and GSP Drive.

Current Project

PARC@GSP requires enhancements to the existing roadway. Aviation Parkway will be reduced to one-lane traffic in each direction during this construction project. Road closures and lane restrictions begin January 27, 2020.

Beginning the week of March 30, 2020, there will be temporary lane closures on GSP Drive. Please be vigilant for cones, flagmen, and additional signage.

Travelers are encouraged to allow for extra time and to closely monitor directional signage. Click here for an interactive PARC map.

Future phases of the project include the construction of a roundabout on Aviation Parkway. The new roundabout will lead to the future 1,500 space economy lot. Periodic lane closures on Aviation Parkway will continue until Fall 2020.

Future Projects

GSP will also construct a new parking garage and a consolidated rental car facility. Construction on the $75 million project is expected to begin in November 2020 with project completion in fall of 2022.

Parking Garage C will be located adjacent to the terminal building and Parking Garage B. The new garage will offer 750 public vehicle parking spaces and 750 ready-return rental car spaces. The garage's public parking section will offer time-saving Park Assist technology allowing customers to quickly locate available spaces. The rental car portion will include a spacious transaction lobby and reserved spaces for premium rental car customer vehicle pick-ups.
