The Upcountry Fiber Artists are a group of six textile artists from across the upstate of South Carolina, including Evelyn Beck, Sara Quattlebaum, Cynthia Steward, Denny Webster, and Kathryn Weston. Each artist transforms fabric and other fibers into evocative, impactful, and expressive works informed by nature, personal stories, imagination, and invention.
The Connections Gallery recently hosted an exhibition showcasing photography from local planespotters at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
This Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville exhibit celebrates local award-winning artists and includes a variety of media including acrylic, graphite, oil, pastel, watercolor, photography and mixed media.
The Open Doors Spartanburg exhibit is a showcase of two and three-dimensional artwork created by twenty-three artists from Spartanburg, South Carolina. It is a collaborative effort between the Artists Collective Spartanburg, the Chapman Cultural Center, the Spartanburg Art Museum, and the Artists Guild of Spartanburg. The exhibit serves as a preview exhibition for the annual Open Doors Studio Tour, which aims to provide a glimpse into the artists’ working studio spaces and their creative processes.

“Celebrating Reconciliation: Remembering Our History Through Community Restoration,” a collection presented by the Urban League of The Upstate, is a collection of photographs aims to honor our shared history and provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on our past.
This Anderson Artists Guild exhibit highlights the local art scene in Anderson County, South Carolina and the diverse talents of the guild’s members through a variety of mediums and styles.

Spartanburg County community members, artists and students created 1000 cranes. From the creators:
“This community project was inspired by the Japanese tradition of foling cranes, which is believed to grant a wish of longevity, peace, or prosperity. Our community project encourages Hope, Peace, and Unity for Ukraine and our world. Thousands of origami cranes have been folded throughout our community, with intention, in a collective effort to create several art installations promoting awarenes, integration, and mindfulness.
The Connections Gallery features a range of two- and three-dimensional artwork from talented students at the South Carolina Governor’s School of the Arts & Humanities, a prestigious residential high school program for talented students from across the state. Work includes oil on canvas, ceramic relief, linocut print, sculpture, animation, and graphic design.

The new Connections Gallery officially opens to the public with a juried collection of three-dimensional work from artists across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Entries were judged by noted artist Michael Webster.
