Baltimore

There is something charming about Charm City. With the world-famous Inner Harbor, renowned museums and attractions, professional sports teams and trendy and historic neighborhoods, get ready to explore Baltimore.

Sports enthusiasts can catch a Baltimore Ravens football game or a watch the O’s play at Oriole Park at Camden Yards while history buffs can explore one of the nation’s oldest cities and visit Fort McHenry, the 1814 battle site that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen “The Star Spangled-Banner”.

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor serves as the city’s entertainment hub with family-friendly destinations like the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center and Port Discovery Children’s Museum and one-of-a-kind waterfront attractions like Top of the World Observation Level and historic ships. With restaurants, bars and music venues there is never a shortage of entertainment. And there is no better place to grab fresh Maryland crabs.

Baltimore’s three Arts & Entertainment Districts, Bromo Tower, Highlandtown and Station North, hosts international festivals, artists, musicians, and performers. Bromo Tower Arts & Entertainment District is home to vibrant visual and performing arts venues, The Arena Players, Bromo Seltzer Arts Rower, Everyman Theatre, Frances Merrick Performing Arts Center, and a number of venues representing local artists. Highlandtown was settled by first generation immigrants and today art serves as a bridge to bridge together cultures and promoting healthy, diverse communities. Station North, Baltimore’s first designated Arts & Entertainment District, is a diverse collection of artist work spaces, galleries, rowhomes, and businesses. Artscape, the country’s largest free art show, is held every year in Station North.

Located 40 miles north of Washington D.C., Baltimore visitors spend time exploring the nation’s capital. National museums, monuments, and memorials are only an hour drive away or short train ride from Baltimore to D.C.’s historic.

Baltimore experiences all four seasons, with temperatures ranging throughout the year from mild spring to snowy winters.
