How should I dress to travel on-board an aircraft?

Comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes are the preferred options. Please avoid clothing, shoes or jewelry containing excessive metal.

How early should I arrive at the airport before departure?

The airlines recommend that passengers arrive two hours prior to departure.

How can I check the status of my flight?

Call the Customer Service number of the airline on which you are traveling.

Lost Items
I lost or left a personal item on-board the aircraft?

Please call the Customer Service number of the airline on which you were traveling. 

I lost something inside the airport or in an airport parking area, which number should I call?

Please call the Information Center at 864.877.7426 between the hours of 7 a.m. and midnight.

How can I get a list of items that are approved for carry-on and checked baggage?

Visit the TSA website at www.tsa.gov and click on travel tips.

How many bags can I take with me?

Passengers should check with the airline to find out the checked baggage and carry-on limit.  Additional fees and other restrictions may apply depending upon the airline. Please call the Customer Service number of the airline on which you are traveling to ensure you have the latest information concerning passenger baggage.

Where is parking available?

Parking is available in five different locations. The Economy Lots A & B are located on GSP Drive. Garages A and B are located to the right and left of the terminal building as you approach. The Daily Parking Lot is located adjacent to Garage B

Curbside Valet Parking is available on a daily basis and opens 90 minutes before the first scheduled departure and closes one hour after the last arrival.

Where should I park if I am just picking up a passenger?

GSP offers a free parking in the Cell Phone Lot for drivers waiting to pick up passengers. Drivers must remain in the vehicle while waiting in this area.

For visitors planning a short stay at the airport, parking is available for $1 every half hour in Garages A or B and the Daily Parking Lot.
